A mysterious little path glowing under a streetlamp at midnight - where PrintBabe goes idea-fishing.

Late Night Idea Fishing 🎣

There’s a little path behind my backyard. I know exactly where it leads in daytime, but I’m pretty sure it goes straight into the weirdest part of my brain at night.

Almost every night around midnight, I'd slip out the back door, light a cigarette, and take a slow walk down that quiet path. It’s completely still - no cars, no voices, only the trees make a fuss. It’s just me, the smoke curling around my head, and the strange ideas floating in the dark, waiting to be caught.

Sometimes, just one cigarette is enough to reel in two or three new characters. Some come out shaped like boxing gloves. Others look like they’re silently rolling their eyes on a desk. A few don’t know what they are yet - but they know they belong in a 3D printer. I will write them all down.

People ask me where my weird little designs come from. Honestly? There’s no fancy process. I just need a quiet place to let my brain wander. Weirdness is my job, but letting go is how I warm up for it.

So if you ask me, “Where does PrintBabe get all these oddball ideas?”

I’d say, “From a quiet little path behind my backyard.”
